Description

Lisa left England five years ago to put the past behind her and make a fresh start with her daughter Hannah. The two settle in Silver Bay - a resort town on the Australian coast - and stay at the hotel of the same name of Lisa's aunt. The beautiful beaches and close-knit community offer them what they need most: freedom and security. But everything changes when Michael Dormer arrives at the hotel.

The attractive Englishman with overly expensive clothes and piercing eyes works in a large construction company and is engaged to his boss's daughter. He comes to Silver Bay, to study whether the area is suitable for the construction of a luxury resort complex with numerous attractions. Michael expects to strike another easy deal, but becomes close to the locals. It's not long before they accept him as one of them, without even suspecting what his true intentions are.

Lisa fears Michael will destroy everything she's fought for: the family business and the bay that shelters her beloved whales. As well as her firm belief that she'll never fall in love again...
