Description

Most people didn't pay attention to the news. But then the reports of violence came pouring in... it all became real and close. Soon it started happening to the people around us. Then the internet disappeared. Television and radio went silent. The phones stopped ringing. All the windows were closed, the doors locked.

Imagine a world where you can't look out - even for a moment! There is something incomprehensible, incomprehensible, invisible... it strikes one's mind in an instant and drives one into a suicidal rage. Humanity must close its eyes if it is to survive...

„Bird box” is the sensational debut of Josh Malerman, which has already conquered readers around the world, and now comes in the precise translation of Nevena Dishlieva-Krasteva and edited by Iva Koleva.

The book has been compared to „The Way” Cormac McCarthy's deft exploration of the human psyche amidst apocalyptic events, it delves into human minds and souls that are denied access to our primary sense - the eyes.
