Miranda Publishing House is pleased to present for the first time in Bulgaria the book „Spanish Fairy Tales“, magnificently illustrated by Sergio Ridzato, known to Bulgarian readers as the artist of many generations' favorite book Indian Fairy Tales.

Sergio Rizzato
Sergio Rizzato was born in 1936 in Milan. Artist and illustrator, from a very young age he travelled around Europe, studying ancient and modern Italian and European art. His artistic palette is rich - painting, abstract art, illustrations for books, preparation of theatre and opera performances. He illustrates books in all genres and from all fields of knowledge. He works with the largest Italian and English publishers. He has exhibited in Florence and at the Bologna Children's Book Fair. In Bulgaria he is known for the illustrations to Indian Tales, published several times over the years (by Miranda Publishing in 2020). The book „Spanish Fairy Tales” with his illustrations is published for the first time in Bulgaria. Especially for this first edition Sergio Ridzato wrote a message to Bulgarian readers, which you can read at the beginning of the book.

Tolya Radeva
Tolya Radeva is a well-known Bulgarian translator from Italian and French. Her translations have immersed us in the magical worlds of Umberto Eco (”The Island of the Day Before”), Alessandro Barico (”Silk”, “Ocean Sea”), she has also translated authors such as Roberto Calasso and Paolo Conietti. We are sure that readers will appreciate her magnificent translations that reveal the wonderful world of Spanish legends.
