Description

Doña Ines, matriarch of the saga and faithful wife of Don Gustavo, will have to overcome the lack of tenderness and love, the pain of abandonment, and the lonely battles for supremacy while turning her true daughter into the heiress of an empire, and in an age where women are not allowed to be the mistresses of their lives.
„The Maid's Daughters“ is a thrilling family drama full of intrigue, forbidden love, class contradictions, and time-honoured traditions, set between Galicia and Cuba in the early twentieth century. Sonsoles Onega immerses the reader in a magical yet realistic story of women and men who rebel against their fate in search of the truth.
